At St Joseph’s School, community is at the heart of who we are. Nestled in the vibrant Riverland region along the banks of the beautiful Murray River, our school is shaped by the rich tapestry of people, places and partnerships that make Renmark so special.
We are a co-educational Catholic school with a proud heritage and a strong future, located 252km east of Adelaide. Our community reflects the diversity and vitality of the Renmark Paringa Council district — home to nearly 10,000 people and thriving industries including stone fruits, citrus, wine grapes, vegetables, wheat, and wool.
Our school family extends across the wider region, with students joining us from Paringa, Murtho, Cooltong and Lyrup. We celebrate the cultural richness that each family brings, and we foster a spirit of welcome, connection and care.
Relationships matter here — among students, staff, and families — and our students grow up knowing they belong. Strong cross-year friendships and a culture of mutual respect build a school environment where everyone contributes, everyone matters, and everyone is known by heart.
We are also deeply connected to our local community, and we value opportunities for students to engage with and give back to the people around them.
After completing Year 6 at St Joseph’s, most students continue their education at St Francis of Assisi College in Renmark, with some choosing to board in Adelaide for senior years.
