School Board

Partnering with Families. Guiding with Purpose. Leading with Heart.

At St Joseph’s School, Renmark, our School Board plays a vital role in nurturing the heart and future of our school. Made up of committed parents, staff, and parish representatives, the Board works in partnership with the Principal to ensure that our school continues to thrive — both now and into the future.

In an advisory capacity, the School Board supports areas such as policy development, financial management, strategic planning, capital development, and the pastoral care of our school community. Together, we work to honour our school’s mission and make sound decisions that benefit all students and families.

The Board operates under the guidelines provided by the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS).

How can you join the Board?

School Board members bring a variety of skills, experience and perspectives that reflect the richness of our school community. Interested individuals can nominate for a position at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which takes place early in the school year.

How can I raise an issue or idea?

We welcome input from families. Members of our school community are invited to raise issues or suggestions in writing, or by contacting a current School Board representative.

When does the School Board meet?

The Board meets twice per term. Meetings follow a structured agenda, with minutes shared among board members after each meeting.
